You want to sing better. You're just not sure what "better" would even sound like, or how you'd get there.
Sometimes your throat feels tight or strained, and you worry about pushing too hard or damaging your voice. The real problem isn't your voice. You just haven't learned how it works yet.
Maybe you already sing in the shower, in the car, or while doing chores. In those moments, you feel relaxed and free. Still, you might doubt your abilities or wonder if you're singing in tune. Sometimes, your inner critic convinces you that your voice sounds worse than it actually does.
But there's good news.
Singing is a skill you can learn. Often, it's about removing habits and confusion that get in the way. With weird, wacky sounds, brain exercises, and other trickery, you'll find your voice can do more than you thought. You'll also learn how to shape your sound the way you want.
In class, you'll start with a group movement warmup to get your brain and body ready. Then some ear training, time for questions, and one-on-one coaching for singers in front of the class.
Over the next few months, you'll have chances to sing for the group and work with Greg one-on-one. You'll also learn by watching other singers get coached. You'll hear their voices change and become clearer during a song. You'll enjoy the applause and make new friends who love singing too.
Learning to sing can be tough, but it's much easier with a coach who understands how your brain and body work together.
