Privacy Policy
VoiceCraft Singing Lessons is a voice studio run by me, Greg Harrison, in Millcreek, Utah. This policy explains what information I collect when you visit voicecraft.studio, book a session, take lessons, or get texts and emails from me, and what I do with it. Questions go to greg@voicecraft.studio.
What I collect
What you give me. Your name, email, and phone number when you fill out a form, book a session, or message me. What you tell me about your singing, your goals, and your experience. Details about your voice and health that matter for lessons, such as an injury, a surgery, or a medical condition. For a student under 18, a parent's or guardian's contact details.
Lesson records. My notes on your lessons and practice. Some lessons are recorded, and only with your permission, so we can review them together. I may use transcription tools, including AI tools, to turn a recording into notes.
Payment details. Payments go through payment processors such as Stripe and PayPal. They handle your card or bank details. I see what was paid and when, not your full card number.
What your browser sends. When you visit the site, tools such as Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, and Google Ads collect standard information: pages visited, how you arrived, device and browser type, and an approximate location based on your IP address. The booking calendar and chat window on the site come from my scheduling software and may set their own cookies.
How I use it
- To schedule and teach lessons and classes, and to send confirmations and reminders.
- To answer your questions by text, email, or chat.
- To bill for lessons and keep payment records.
- To send studio news and class announcements by email. Every email has an unsubscribe link.
- To understand how people find the site and whether my ads work.
- To meet legal and tax obligations.
Text messages
I text you only if you gave me your number and agreed to get texts. Booking through a form on this site includes that agreement. Texts cover booking confirmations, lesson and class reminders, schedule changes, class announcements, and one-to-one replies about lessons. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.
Reply STOP to stop texts at any time. You'll get one message confirming you're unsubscribed, then nothing more. Reply START to sign back up, or contact me. Reply HELP for help, or email greg@voicecraft.studio.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Your text opt-in and consent are never shared with any third party. The service providers that deliver texts for me receive your number only to send them.
Who I share it with
I don't sell your information or share it for others to market to you. I share it only with the services that help me run the studio, and only what each one needs:
- Scheduling, contacts, email, and texting: HighLevel (LeadConnector).
- Email, calendars, video lessons, and file storage: Google Workspace and Google Meet.
- Student portal and lesson scheduling: My Music Staff.
- Payments: Stripe and PayPal.
- Website hosting: Cloudflare.
- Site statistics and advertising: Google Analytics and Google Ads.
- Notes, transcription, and admin help: AI tools that process it on my behalf.
I may also share information when the law requires it, or to protect someone's safety.
Cookies and your browser
Cookies are small files your browser stores so a site can remember you. This site uses them for statistics, advertising, the booking calendar, and the chat window. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Google offers a browser add-on to opt out of Google Analytics, and you can change how Google personalizes ads at Google's ad settings. This site does not respond to "Do Not Track" browser signals.
Students under 18
This site is meant for adults and for parents booking for their children. I don't knowingly collect information online from children under 13. A student under 18 takes lessons with a parent's or guardian's permission. If you think a child under 13 sent me information without a parent, email me and I'll delete it.
How long I keep it
I keep your information while you're a student or in touch with me, and afterward as long as I need it for records, taxes, or legal reasons. Lesson recordings and notes are stored privately in my Google account and are never published without your permission. You can ask me to delete them at any time.
Your choices
- Ask what information I have about you, or ask me to correct it.
- Ask me to delete it. I'll keep only what the law requires me to keep.
- Unsubscribe from email with the link in any email.
- Stop texts by replying STOP.

Keeping it safe
I use reputable services with security protections and keep my accounts password protected. No system is perfectly secure, so I can't promise your information will never be exposed. If a breach affects you, I'll tell you as the law requires.
Changes
If I change this policy, I'll post the new version here with a new effective date. If a change matters to how I use your information, I'll tell current students directly.
