Terms
These terms cover your use of voicecraft.studio and the lessons, classes, texts, and emails from VoiceCraft Singing Lessons, a voice studio run by me, Greg Harrison, in Millcreek, Utah. By using the site, booking a session, or taking lessons, you agree to them. If you're booking for someone under 18, you agree for them.
Booking a session
The free exploration session is a conversation on Google Meet about your voice and your goals. Booking it doesn't commit you to anything. If you can't make it, please cancel or reschedule using the link in your confirmation, or let me know.
How your lessons work
Your plan reserves a regular time for you, weekly or every other week. Your price stays the same for as long as you keep your plan, and it already allows for the weeks I'm away, which I'll post at least a month ahead. Those weeks aren't made up.
If you can't make a lesson, let me know at least 24 hours ahead and I'll save it for you. Saved lessons are taken after your last paid lesson, when you finish lessons with me. A lesson missed or skipped with less notice isn't saved.
If I cancel a lesson outside my posted weeks away, we'll find another time, or I'll save it for you the same way.
Your plan renews automatically for the same length, at the rate you signed up at: month-to-month plans each month, and paid-ahead plans every three or six months. Your renewal date is the date your next payment is due. Before a paid-ahead plan renews, I'll send you a reminder 30 to 60 days ahead with the date and the amount. To stop or change your plan, text or email me at least two weeks before your renewal date.
Payments aren't refunded once a plan period has started.
If something serious comes up, like an illness or a move, please talk to me.
Group classes
A drop-in pays for one class. A class pass covers a set number of classes and never expires. A class comes off your pass only when you attend. If you start private lessons, the classes left on your pass are credited toward your first month, at the price you paid per class. Once applied, that credit is part of your payment and isn't returned if you later stop your plan.
Your voice and your health
Singing is physical work. Tell me about any injury, surgery, or medical condition that affects your voice or your breathing. If something hurts during a lesson or while you practice, stop and tell me. Lessons are education, not medical care. The Disclaimer says more.
Online lessons
Online lessons and the exploration session run on Google Meet. You're responsible for your own device, internet connection, and a space where you can sing. If a problem on my end cuts a lesson short, I handle it the same way as a lesson I cancel.
Recordings, photos, and testimonials
I record a lesson only with your permission. I share a recording, photo, video, or quote from you publicly only with your permission, and you can withdraw that permission later for anything I haven't already published.
Text messages
When you give me your phone number and agree to texts, you'll get texts from VoiceCraft Singing Lessons: booking confirmations, lesson and class reminders, schedule changes, class announcements, and one-to-one replies about lessons. Booking through a form on this site includes agreeing to these texts. You can reply STOP at any time, and I'll keep in touch by email instead.
- Message frequency varies.
- Message and data rates may apply.
- Reply STOP to stop. You'll get one message confirming you're unsubscribed.
- Reply START to sign back up.
- Reply HELP for help, or email greg@voicecraft.studio or call 385-378-5759.
- Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
How I handle your number is in the Privacy Policy.
Using the site
The writing, videos, and images on this site, and the materials I make for lessons, belong to VoiceCraft Singing Lessons. You're welcome to read, share links, and use lesson materials for your own practice. Please don't copy them for sale, republish them, or present them as your own. Don't use the site to break the law, send spam, or interfere with how it works.
No guarantees
I'll teach you the best I know how, but I can't promise a particular result, such as a role, an audition, or a range. Progress depends on practice, health, and many things outside a lesson. The site and its content are provided as they are. To the extent the law allows, VoiceCraft Singing Lessons is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and its total liability for any claim is limited to what you paid for lessons in the three months before the claim.
Utah law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Utah. Any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts in Salt Lake County, Utah. If any part of these terms can't be enforced, the rest still applies.
Changes
If I change these terms, I'll post the new version here with a new effective date. Changes to how your plan works apply from your next renewal, and I'll tell you before then.
